Shwmae pawb,
I hope you all had a good half term break. We are celebrating St David's day this week and our Eisteddfod will be taking place on Friday. The children have completed their story entries and will be finishing their art and handwriting entries ready for the competition.
Remember they are either representing their house in the house song or the Welsh poetry recitation during the event on Thursday. They will have a few more practice days together
Literacy: We will be focusing on grammar skills this week - linked to our last writing assessment from our Eisteddfod story.
Maths: We will review or CLIC skills, in particular calculation and will be developing some mental arithmetic strategies as well.
Book bags - can you please remember to change your book bag on your allocated day - Monday to Thursday as buddy reading is continuing on a Friday.
PE - as we had extra PE with our Cardiff city sessions alongside swimming last term we will just revert to swimming on a Friday for PE as we need to dedicate more time towards our STEM project during this term.
Monday / Dydd Llun : Spelling check up
Wednesday / Dydd Mercher : New learning log task to be sent home (maths task)
Thursday / Dydd Iau : Eisteddfod - children to wear their St David's day costumes.
Friday / Dydd Gwener : Swimming in the leisure centre, CLIC maths.
