Homework
I will set two more pieces of homework linked to the summer tests.
This week the work is in the homework folder in our Eryri class (the same as last week’s reasoning test questions). There are a complete reading test paper and sample procedural maths questions for both year 4 and 5. The answers to the maths questions are in the booklet so by all means, use them to help check your workings.
As last week you don't need to print the tests and can use you Learning logs to answer the questions. However, if you are able to and want to print out and write on the sheets that is fine too.
If you have trouble accessing the work please let me know before the weekend.
There are two changes I need to notify you of. One is with regard to the timetable.
We have had to move the Year 4 reading test to Thursday morning. So this will be the same date as the Year 5s are sitting it. The date of the maths tests is remaining the same.
Y4 Reasoning tests. The children will not be allowed to use a calculator during the test, so all future reasoning practice do not use a calculator - unless you are checking answers afterwards. Year 5 may use a calculator for their reasoning test only.
I will set some more reasoning questions next week as both the reasoning tests will be sat after the bank holiday.
