Just to say a big well done with the work towards your Welsh towns research tasks and making efforts to upload them t the new class group.
There are a few things that have been difficult and thank you for persevering and asking questions as the more we begin to use different areas of the platform the more we will be able to learn which areas are going to be useful for us to use in the long term.
Well done for creating a variety of different types of presentations and well done those who remembered to name their document (those who haven't please can you change the name of your doc from 'presentation' or 'doc' to the name of your town by clicking the black box at the top of your document when you open it.
I wasn't aware that when you create a Sway it doesn't automatically save to your OneDrive as a Word doc or PowerPoint does, it will just stay within the Sway App. This means that you are unable to copy it into the Files area of the class group.
I was really impressed to see that some people had managed to export their Sway doc into either a Word or PDF which meant that you could add a copy of your work (in either format) into the folder.
We went through how to Export a Sway in class in case this is needed to be done again.
We also worked out a good way to share the Sway doc (in its original format) by creating a copy of a link to the sway and adding it to the 'discussion' tab of the group on Welsh towns - so try and add your Sway to the discussion page so people can follow your link.
We still have a couple of problems to troubleshoot to get everyone's doc into the folder and we will try to do this before the weekend so that we can start a follow task.
There have been lots of new folders created as people have tried to find ways of adding their documents and I am waiting for some help from HWB support to remove the folders that we don't need.
Thanks again for the support from parents in helping the children to navigate the new areas of the blog, as it is new and unfamiliar it will take time to become confident in knowing how everything works but and I am really pleased with the things we have achieved already in such a short space of time.
