Shwmae pawb,
Thank you to all those who have submitted their homework to the class file in the Welsh towns folder. I will go over again how to do this in class for those who cannot do it.
Some great work has been added already, have a look if you are struggling with ideas of how to compile the information that you have found out.
Can I add another reminder to name your document (the name of your town, don't just leave it as doc.1 or ppt. 2 etc) to do this just click Save as.......... or click the black bar at the top of the document where it says document 1 and click that to change it to the name you want to call it.
I look forward to going through the research with you next week and lots of good ICT skills are being developed as we increase your confidence in navigating different areas of the HWB platform. If you are finding it difficult to do certain tasks we should be able to begin supporting each other as children gain skills in one area they can share this information with their friends.
Class trips: The children should have brought home a letter about going to Techniquest on 31st January. There will be a workshop on February 2nd taking place in school for all of our Year 3 and 4 pupils - Jonathan's jungle. Letters will be sent out this week. We will also be arranging a separate activity for Year 5 and 6 pupils that will be taking place after half term (details to follow nearer the date).
Notes for the week:
Mon: Spelling check up
Tues: Return learning logs (if you have attempted any of the maths activities)
Wed: Year 4 swimming kit required. Cardiff City after-school club. Homework: new literacy homework task to be set
Fri: Big maths CLIC, PE (indoor) kit needed
Reminder: If you still haven't completed the Sports Councils survey about the school yard please can you try and complete the survey (should take around 5 minutes- follow this link)
