Shwmae,
I hope you have had a good weekend. I can't believe we are in the fourth week of the new term already! Here are a few notes about the week ahead:
Homework: As I said we will have a look at the J2e software in class and try to troubleshoot any problems people may be having, or with general access to their HWB account. Remember you can still create a hand-made infographic if you wish but it will be useful to get to know the software for future activities.
Literacy - we will be continuing to study the events of WWI. This week we will be studying the life of David Lloyd George, the only Welsh Prime Minister in history. We will also look at the role the recruitment office and propaganda played in getting men to go to war and we will begin to look at what life was like in the trenches.
Maths - place value, continuing to learn the importance of decimal places, especially when dividing numbers. We will also look at multiplication facts, including common multiples.
School Council - I hope you have seen the blog about school council voting. We will be electing four members of Year 6 and there will be some special roles for the children involved.
Dydd Llun - School Council voting. PTA meeting at 7pm, all parents are welcome.
Dydd Mawrth - return consent for Kiss Me Kate dress rehearsal - tomorrow!
Dydd Mercher - Swimming kit needed. Class visit to the Wales Millenium Centre in Cardiff, children to be picked up from school at 5pm.
