As we have completed all the end of Key Stage assessment work needed, it's time to start preparing you all for September. . .
Due to extremely high demand from parents, I'm going to be setting a lot of homework. We will be using this to enhance and inform our lessons and learning as well as our classroom.
By Monday:
- ractise your 'famous person talk' in front of an audience - parents, siblings, pets to present in school. Everyone will be performing on Monday so be ready!
- Find out where in the world India is - continent, bordering countries, surrounding oceans and seas, captial city, major cities, how it is governed and by whom.
By Wednesday:
- Find an Indian atrefact, learn three facts about it and bring it in to school to talk to the class about (an artefact is any object from India - it could be anything from a Balti dish to tea leaves to a musical instrument to a piece of fabric or a photograph)
By Friday:
- Research Indian Rangoli patterns and create one of your own on a piece of paper 20cm x 20cm. Use any media you wish to colour it, but you must keep it traditional in style. DO NOT print a blank one off the Internet and colour it in or trace one. It must be unique and hand drawn (you may use a ruler and a compass). And Eryri, I will know!!!
These are all fun tasks that I hope you will enjoy. Just make sure that everything comes in on the right day!
