A really busy week last week, final preparations for our show and we managed to complete sports day in the end. Apologies if you weren't able to make it the weather wasn't kind to us this month!
Book bags - could I please have all book bags sent in tomorrow or before July 3rd as we are sorting out the reading schemes and need the books collected in.
Summer shows - you can purchase extra tickets if you require them - see the main blog for full details. A reminder that all children need to be in attendance for both evening shows to ensure the chorus songs have a good amount of singers and that they can stand in the positions they have practised (when children are missing it can confuse them).
For the evening performances could you please ensure the children arrive in school for 5.30pm (wearing their costumes) we will begin letting the audience in around 5.45pm ready for a 6pm start. For the evenings where you are just dropping the children off the show should be complete by 7.30 pm
Samba drumming show - I hope you all received an invitation via text last week to come in and watch some of the work we have been doing in our samba drumming sessions. We will be performing with Miss Pike's class in Year 4 This will take place on Tuesday 9th July in the school hall at 10am, all family will be welcome.
Class presentations: There were some fabulous presentations last week, all slightly different and some lovely family stories shared. Thank you for anyone who shared pictures or memorabilia for the children to use. The remaining children will be finishing their presentations this week.
Dydd Llun - Mrs Boat will be teaching today. I would still like the children to carry out their presentations - they will be filmed so that I can watch them back. Samba drumming session today (swapped for dress rehearsal tomorrow) - this will be our final session before next weeks performance.
Dydd Mawrth - Dress rehearsal - children will be changing into their costumes in school, to perform to the FPh children in the hall. The children will return their costumes after school ready to wear to school in the evening. First evening performance to begin at 6.00pm
Dydd Mercher - All book bags to be returned today please. Afternoon show performance - please bring in costumes to school. Show should finish around 3pm - if grandparents / parents are in the audience they may collect children at the end of the show.
Dydd Iau - Final evening performance at 6pm
Dydd Gwener - INSET day for staff, no school for pupils.
