Dear parents,
This weeks homework will be for the children to have a go at logging on to their HWB and completing the practice test questions for the summer tests. They have logged on in school to practice and are now able to do so at home.
If they are not used to using a laptop or desktop computer could you please try and get them access to using a mouse or a key pad as the tests will not be sat on iPads / tablets.
They need to log in click on their waffle in the top right corner and then select personalised assessment - familiarisation test and select the non-braille test. This will give them an insight into the style of this summers procedural maths test. They are allowed to use pencil and paper to complete workings next to the the computer while they are working.
In addition can children practice their times tables and doubles can children practice their 3 and 4 times tables please, you can use J2Blast on HWB or Hit The Button on the Topmarks website as well if you like.
If you are able to instantly answer all multiplication and division facts about a table in a random order then you can start looking at your 6 x table.
