Shwmae everyone,
homework this week will be to practise skills on Big maths CLIC. Lots of children have recently progressed onto a new CLIC or if not, are very close to moving on.
This is the easiest option - I am sharing an open link to a PDF that has all of the CLIC levels needed. There is one example test of each CLIC level. If they have just moved up please practice sums on that test. You can write out the sums in your learning log. If you are close to moving up practice the sums you are getting stuck on but also have a look at the next CLIC level you will be working on next. You can complete this sample test and then select extra questions you wish to practice. Remember the sums on a different week are always the same type of problem - just with different numbers. We will all aim to try and move up another CLIC level by Easter if we can!
Here is the link: CLIC practice test questions - you do not have to print them off but are welcome to if it will help.
Don't forget to keep practising times tables as well - use J2Blast or Topmarks Hit The Button if you want to play online. We will try and learn the 3 x table (and all its switchers) by Easter.
Thank you for sharing the notes on the values there were some lovely ideas shared and well done for those who have engaged in the discussion on our class group - take a look if you haven't had chance.
Diolch,
Mr Ball
