I'm sad to say that we are missing the Eisteddfod tomorrow as the poetry and singing recitals were sounding great, particularly Gwyno house ;) but as you have seen from the blog, text and RCT website we have had to make a decision based on the information provided by the council.
Hopefully, you will get to enjoy some good quality snow over the next few days but please stay safe and wrap up warm if you venture out.
Even though I want you to have as much fun as possible we were due to restart our homework cycle today so I would like you to do some work learning about angles!

Banana Hunt - this is a really fun game that will test your estimation skills to the maximum. Remember half of a right angle (90degrees) is 45degrees and see how close you can guess 10 different angles and how many bananas you can collect.

Kung fu angles - this game is good fun but you need to be confident from all angles in a circle. Start with the lower difficulty as the time goes quickly on the harder levels - again it works best in internet explorer:

Optional tasks
If you have an angle measurer at home have a practice at trying to draw and measure different types of acute and obtuse angles (be sure to try an estimate before you measure).
You can also try some interactive measurements on HWB using J2Measure: Select the protractor in the maths tools and draw some angles using lines. You can resize and rotate your protractor. Again try to estimate before measuring:
Extra tasks due to the snow day. I don't want you to be working the whole time over the next few days if you have the chance to enjoy the snow but please try and have a go at some the following activities:
World book day!
It is actually World Book Day tomorrow, so try and find some time to fit some reading in! I thought it would be really cool if we took some photos in the snow and shared them with each other. If you can try and take a photo with a book and add a funny caption to your picture. If you want to add an St Davids day snow picture then add that too.
