I hope you have had a great half term enjoying some Halloween fun and maybe some firework displays!
I'm looking forward to welcoming you all back tomorrow as we get back to work and build up to Christmas!
Key reminders.
Non uniform tomorrow (6/11) - we have visitors leading an assembly on 'Showing racism the red card' so children are encouraged to wear items of red clothing to support this cause (no donation required)
Non uniform - Friday (10/11/2017) - Water warrior fundraiser. Our class will be supporting a Water Aid campaign about being a water warrior. We will have a class assembly during the week to explain more and the children are encouraged to wear blue in support of the campaign and offer a small donation to Water Aid and we carry out an activity in support of the cause.
Homework: As I said in class there was no set homework as it was half term but I did say that people were welcome to comment on our new Roman blog on J2Bloggy if you had time. It's great to see that a good number of children remembered the instructions of how to access the blog.

If you haven't yet looked at the new blog log on to your HWB - click the J2E app then J2Bloggy and ensure the 'include shared' and 'only from my school' boxes are ticked - then you select 'The Romans from the drop-down menu.
* Reminder - using the blog you must use correct grammar when you add a post. General comments and chats will not be allowed on the blog - all chats must be specifically linked to the discussions posted - but you can comment and ask/answer questions by clicking reply to a post somebody has sent.
I have put a new topic for discussion this week 'Gladiators' as we will be studying this in class this week. Share your finidings and thoughts when you get chance during the week.
New class Group
I have set up a new class group on HWB that we will begin to use to help with our work during this half term. Please copy this link (into your search browser) when you have chance and request to join the group and I will approve you. (You need to be logged in to your HWB account before you follow the link).
