Over the past 3 years the school has won the Llantrisant Community Council Schools Christmas Tree competition. This competition is between the cluster of Primary schools and Comprehensive Schools in the area. The winning prize is £200 and so far we have won a total of £600 for the school.
This tree is then exhibited at Llantrisant Christmas Tree Festival at the church in Llantrisant.
This years theme is Angels and every class is making an Angel type decoration for the tree. We hope to turn the entire tree into an Angel itself.
Reception and Year 1 are making Rag Garlands for the tree and this is where we need your help please.
Would you donate any old white sheets/shirts/duvet covers which are mostly white? It would be extremely helpful if these items could be ripped/cut into strips of approx 2 cm wide by 8 cm in length please. The children will then learn to tie them around a very long piece of string to make a garland. The garland will hopefully represent the Angels dress/skirt.

Please help us achieve it. We need a dynamic team of parents to help us out.
EVEN IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO CUT UP THE PIECES PLEASE DONATE THE SHEETS/WHITE SHIRTS/WHITE DUVETS. We are happy to accept cream colours too.
WE NEED THESE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
