The children experienced educational sessions that linked very well to our termly topic 'Go Team Eco.' They learned about the effect of climate change and were able to experiment with different scientific properties of materials to see which ones would infiltrate the water and which were the most permeable.
A big thank you to the parent helpers who gave up their time to join us on the trip today:
Here are a taster of the photos but I have also shared all of the photos with the children on One Drive so they can save any that they wish. Please remember that they are not for sharing on social media at all as for that we need everyone's permission. Thank you.
Matthew gives us a demonstration of global warming:
It's getting a bit technical for Mr Ball:
Girls are enthralled by a material designed to increase drainage of the floors in new housing developments - can they remember what it was called?
Reuben's mum proving that she has a hidden talent - definitely top teacher material!
Mad scientists Reuben and Hollie are making an interesting mixture to demonstrate what gets emptied into our drains.
New fashion accessories - toilet seat necklaces - will they take off?
If you would like to see all of the photos please visit the One Drive.
