Year 6 Role & responsibilities for a House Captain:
Responsible for
promoting your School House, within the school community.
Jobs may include:

Representing the house in assembly
• Working
with staff to arrange inter-house events and charity events
• Acting as
a positive role model
· Collecting class house point
totals each week and reporting scores, develop house point collection
Qualities/Skills required:
• A good
team member
• Good
relationships with pupils of all ages – able to encourage them
• A
positive role model – good attitude towards learning and sports
• Able to
recognise other pupils’ achievements and offer support when needed.
Commitment
On-going
commitment to be a good role-model.
Use of
playtimes/lunchtimes to arrange events when required.
*Vice Captains are elected to support the House Captains and also fill in for a Captain if they are absent during an event or meeting
