Wythnos 5: 28/09/2015

Already into our 5th week of the term, wow! I hope you all had a good weekend, a glorious bit of September sun for those who were able to enjoy it. More exciting rugby again, not least the tremendous Welsh victory against our arch rivals!

Skiing
We have had great interest in the skiing thus far. Oficially the confirmation and first deposit should have been sent in by now. However, we have been informed that the traditional 3 day residential trip for the future Y Pant pupils that usually takes place during the summer term will not be taking place this academic year. There will be a transitional trip to meet their new classmates but it will most likely be a day of activities. We just wanted to make you aware in case you were planning for this instead of the skiing trip. If that is the case and you would be interested in coming skiing or anybody else who is interested in joining the skiing trip, please can you inform Mrs Rees or myself as soon as possible as the coach and hotel numbers will be finalised this week.

We are continuing to work through our fictional text on Robin Hood and will begin preparing towards our own piece of fictional writing based on the text, using a range of strategies including dramatisation and studying techniques used to enhance descriptions.
