On Monday Dosbarth Eryri along with Tryfan visited our local church. We met Vicar Viv there who made us all feel very welcome. Diolch Viv! We had a great time learning about the Christian Community. We took part in a mock christening where two of our babies were baptised. The parents and Godparents did a fantastic job. Da Iawn Pawb! Take a look at the photos below. Smiles all round...
Once we had finished the christening ceremony we became RE detectives! We had to find a range of features within the church linked to many different services. We found the choir stalls, pews, golden lectern, wedding kneelers, holy communion goblets and many more. It was a great afternoon where the children had a valuable insight into the Christian faith.
Once back at school we had a little Christening party where the parents and Godparents hosted their guests.
