Hi folks!
This week's spellings are words that have unstressed vowels ie. words that contain a vowel we barely hear when we say it, if at all.
For example:
in the word interest, the first e is unstressed. Try saying it out loud. It's a good way to check!
We are practising every day in school, but any supplementary work at home will be helpful. Try thinking of words that have unstressed vowels and perhaps teach someone else in your family about them.
