Wythnos 10: 15/03/2020

Shwmae pawb,

Another busy week ahead. Unfortunately we have decided to postpone the world to work week for now. I am hopeful we will be able to hold it again in the summer and thank you once again for those who were willing to give up their time come in and speak to the children.

We will be carrying out some problem solving activities in mathematics this week, in particular linked to data handling.

In language we will continue to develop our speaking and listening skills towards balanced arguments.

In addition we will begin the first design phase of our STEM project. We are going to need pieces of cardboard (not thick cardboard) probably similar in thickness to that things are delivered to supermarkets - eg the cardboard box that would contain bags of crisps but not the cardboard that holds fruit (banana / apple boxes) - these will be too thick.  If you could start bringing things in and we will recycle what we don't need.

Mon - Mrs Boat is teaching today and you will also have the Bryn Cylennog Welsh Bach students who need to complete the Digital Leaders programme with you.

Tues - We will be learning special song that has been composed for the Penrhys pilgrimage service.

Wed - we will set a new homework task this week (none last week as we were learning things for the Eisteddfod)

Fri - please bring in PE kits today. Book fair is arriving today.

Diolch,

Mr Ball
