Shwmae all,

A few notices to share:

Cycling: If it is easier for those who live further away, you may leave your bikes on site overnight and they will be locked inside the building. You must remember to bring your helmets to take part in the course.

Y Pant transition day 3

Oxford reading buddy: Most people have been able to log on now, well done those who have found time to read the book already. Remember to fill in your personalised reading chart saved in your OneDrive after you have finished the book - and for all future books you read.
Can the next book you choose be a stage 18 book. You do not have to read the books in order of the list - you may choose the one you like the sound of.
If you are still having problems logging in please let me know.

Homework:
This weeks homework will be a digital task again. We are going to start looking at the Titanic to support our next literacy cycle.
There is a great article on Encyclopedia Britannica (one of the apps on HWB) which most children have used now but I will show them again. There is a video clip that you can watch as well as reading the article.

Your task is to create an infographic about the Titanic, using J2E 5. There are some fantastic example infographics if you google search 'Titanic infographic' to give you ideas.
After reading the article and looking at examples you can decide what you would like to base your infographic on. It could be to do with the dimensions of the ship. Or numerical facts linked to the passengers or, you could combine a mixture of things that interest you. Can you have your infographics ready to share with the rest of the class by next Tuesday please. (We can print them in school)

Reading: After you have read the Depths of the Ocean book please aim to read another book or two books if you wish on stage 18 and update your reading chart.
