Shwmae pawb,
It's hard to believe but we have finally arrived at our last week of term!
Climbing trip: There were still a few consent forms outstanding on Friday - Mrs Cox did send a reminder text and some came in after school but, if you still haven't send in consent it needs to be brought in the morning to allow the children to leave site.
The children can wear PE kit / sports clothing to school tomorrow ready for the climbing trip to Spot Wales in the morning. I still have space for a parent helper - if you would like / are able to come along please let me know in the morning. We will be leaving around 9.30am but will be back for lunch as we depart at 12pm.
Children need to take a snack with them but are able to order dinners as normal.
Next year: The children got to meet their new teachers last week and we had a good circle time discussion to discuss changes and tried to alleviate any worries that the children were feeling. The children were feeling very positive after they came back from their 'move up morning' but we will have another circle time this week to make sure everyone is looking forward to next year.
Reports: The children should have brought home their reports on Friday along with WAG data from the assessments. If I don't get chance to see you next week thank you for all your support in helping to settle the children into their first year of Key stage 2, which is always a big transition for the children in terms of the change of classroom environment. They are all developing strong foundations on which to build and I really hope they can progress and reach their potential during the next few years of their Key Stage 2 journey.
Very best wishes,
Mr Ball
