I hope you have had a good weekend. Please send in your learning logs tomorrow or on Tuesday ready for this week's numeracy task.
HWB passwords. All children should now have taken their passwords home. Please try and use the J2Blast game to help practice your 2s, 5s and 10 times tables.
We will have a look at carrying out another task using HWB before half term but, if anyone is still having a problem logging in after having your password please let me know.
Spellings: Reminder: The children are welcome to use the back of their learning logs to practice their spellings if they wish, I will remind them of this during the week.
Trip to Cardiff castle: Please return your consent form by Tuesday if you haven't already so I can complete the risk assessment. Thank you for those who have volunteered to join the trip, I will confirm numbers with Miss Parfitt and let you know if you are needed to come along.
Some notes for the week:
Literacy: We will continue looking at limericks to begin our study of patterned poems and then move onto haiku and kennings and comparing the three styles.
Maths: Our main focus will be adding skills and patterns within addition. We will also continue with a new aspect of Big maths that allows children to rehearse their measuring skills and recognition of shape and fractions. Please keep rehearsing your 2, 5 and 10 times tables in a random order when you have time.
