Debating: This week we will look forward to competing in some in class debates. I am really looking forward to hearing you all debate your topics. There was a really good standard of speeches given last week for World Speech Day. We will aim to use the skills we have been developing along with the support of your team to prepare your debates.
Maths: We will be completing our work on data handling by completing some work analysing and drawing pie charts. Then we will continue to do some work on adding and subtracting decimals.
Key points for the week:
* Non skiing children to return your consent towards the
WNO Family concert tickets. A few parents have already enquired about buying tickets for the concert. If you have been on the St David's Hall website you will be able to purchase tickets but please wait until I have received the discount code which will allow you to have a discounted rate on the tickets - I am chasing this up this week so aim to have it as soon as possible so that you can begin to purchase the tickets.
Mon: Return Learning Logs. Big Spelling check up
Tues: World Down's Syndrome day - we are supporting this day by wearing odd or brightly coloured socks - see the school Twitter account for details. Second rehearsal with Kate and Rhiannon ready for our WNO concert.
Wed: PE - football session with Liam
Thurs: Film club after school
Fri: Extra maths session with Mr Wagner. Big Maths CLIC and extra PE session today - bring in kit.
