Homework: 02/11/16

Homework task: 2/11/2016

Task 1: Literacy
We will be bringing our work on WWI to a close this week but before we move on to WWII , I would like you to complete this final comprehension activity about Harry Patch and other WWI heroes.

Could you please hand write the answers into your learning logs.

Use the heading on the top of the comprehension and your LO is : To answer questions as fully as possible, in particular, those that require you to think and give your own opinion / reasons.

For Q 16: Try to research your own act of bravery if you have time, so that we have a variety of stories to share. As well as writing about the person / people say how it made you feel to find out about it.

* As with the previous comprehension task if you are unable to access the comprehension task via OneDrive please let me know before Friday so that I can give you a printed copy to take home.

To be submitted on Monday 7th November.

Task 2:French folder
We met Madame Smith today for an introduction to French and she will be joining us on a fortnightly basis for us to experience more French sessions over the coming weeks.

She allocated the children a folder which she would like the children to decorate with a French theme and possibly cover as well. You also have a sheet on Comment tu t'appelles? to complete.

Your folder needs to be returned to school before 16th November ready for the next session.
