Some of our work this week:
Literacy / topic: This week we will be completing a comprehension task about WWI. In addition, we will continue to look at life in the trenches along with how weapons and technology developed during the war. We will be writing postcards and letters as if we were soldiers writing home from France. We will have a spelling assessment on key words.
Maths: we will continue to convert between metric units of length; understand imperial units of length and that they would have been used during WWI. We will also continue with problem solving using tree diagrams and complete a mental arithmetic test.

Homework: Due to be returned tomorrow and a new task set on Wed.
