Wow, it seems unbelievable to say we have reached the eighth week of the term. A really exciting weekend of rugby for those who had the chance to watch it, so close for Wales but it was not to be.
I'm looking forward to meeting all parents this week for a chat about the year ahead as the children work towards their transition from Penygawsi. Here is a brief outline for the final week of this half term.
Literacy: We are focussing on journalistic writing and plan to write two newspaper articles - one linked towards our topic (about the Senghenydd mining disaster) and one linked to our L&L topic about Robin Hood.
Maths:
We will look at multiplication of 3d x 1d numbers and also begin to look at written methods of division.
Learn It's we will continue to focus on our 7,8 and 9 times tables.
