As the production date looms closer it is time to start thinking about tickets, costumes and props.

Costumes
Year 3/4 boys are animals - Mrs Black and Mrs Taylor have given pupils their parts.

Year 3 girls are birds - Mrs Black and Mrs Taylor have told their girls which are white and which are black. Pupils need a bird mask and clothing of their colour.

Year 4/5 boys are sweeps - Old trousers and shirts with rips and tears.
Year 4/5 girls are Suffragettes - Long skirts and shirt needed.  Some may wish to wear a hat if possibly sourced.  Sashes will be made in school.  Any spare material will be gratefully received.

Year 6 
Waiters - Dressed as penguins.
Reporters - Suits and clipboards.
Sweeps - As above
Market sellers - Long skirt, shirt, shawl, gloves and hats.
Bird lady - Ripped/dirtied long skirt and shirt, shawl, gloves and hat.
Mr Dawes Jnr- Suit
Mr Dawes Snr - Suit, glasses and walking stick.
Bankers and customers - suits and briefcases.
Mary Poppins - Long skirt, shirt, jacket, gloves and hat.
Bert - As sweep but with neck scarf and hat.
Mrs Banks - As suffragettes.
Mr Banks - Suit, mustache, glasses, dressing gown and slippers.
Katie Nanna - Long skirt, shirt, mid apron and suitcase.
Cook and Cook - Long black skirt, white shirt, full apron and mop hat.

Props
We would be grateful if you have any of the following props at home that we could borrow:

• Hat stand
• Baskets with handles (For market sellers and bird lady)
• Old fashioned weighing scales.
• Old fashioned telephone.
• Suitcase.

Tickets

Tickets will be on sale from Monday 29th June.  They are £2 each and limited to 2 per pupil at first. They can be purchased from Mrs Rees and Yr 6 ticket team in their classroom throughout the day.

If you require any help with costumes or have any questions please don't hesitate to contact the school or your child's class teacher.  The pupils are working very hard to learn songs and lines at present. I am sure it is going to be a show to remember.
