Firstly, thank you all for your hard work in preparing your oracy presentations. They have been amazing to watch and so many of you have overcome your fear of talking to an audience. Well done! :0)As you know, our topic is 'Tomorrow 's World' which is based on the novel 'War of the Worlds'. We'll be studying space an the solar system; the moon and earth. Our main project is the film project where you will work in a team to create, plan, animate and compose music for a movie trailer based on a science fiction film. We looked at the music programme AUDACITY today. This is free to download at home. Here is the link for the download but please ask for your parents' permission first.

We discussed reading books today. You all have one now and I'd like you all to read at least five minutes every evening. Talk about your book to your parents. Understanding what you read is so important. also, tell me about it. We have also set up our new Buddy Reading system for Fridays.
P.E. days are now on Mondays and Tuesdays. You will need an outdoor kit for both days. You know the rules: dark bottoms or leggings, a white t shirt and long hair should be tied back. Earrings should have a plaster over if they cannot be removed. Greg is coming in on a Monday to continue 'multi-skills' and Mr Rushworth is taking games on Tuesday afternoons.

You have been excellent and focused this week. Keep it up! Mrs Pugh :0)
