Dear parents
We have arranged a trip for Year 5 and Year 6 for Thursday October 1st. The trip is organised by Dare Valley Education department and we will be investigating ‘The Changing Valley’. The trip will involve looking at old iron age artefacts that were found in the Rhondda, learning about the geology of how the mountains were formed, considering what the Rhondda looked like before coal and tracking the changes caused by coal mining.
Year 5 will go in the morning and Year 6 will go in the afternoon. The children will be in school for lunch.
The cost of the trip is £2.50.
